GP's technology reviewer Dr Richard Harkness describes the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite as 'perfect for the literature-loving insomniac'.
He says: 'Kindle is a phenomenal success and already a household name. Much as "Hoover" is used interchangeably with "vacuum cleaner", Kindle has come to represent the ebook reader.
'Now offering better resolution and faster page refresh, the Kindle is a wonderful device.
'There is no need to keep your partner awake at night with your lamp-light - you can turn on the "paperwhite" function to read in the dark. This should not tire your eyes, because e-ink is lit from the sides, not the back. The battery life is also lengthy.
'The Kindle can store thousands of books, which can be bought easily, so it's difficult to think why anyone wouldn't want one.'
The competition closing date is Friday 28 March.
