Video: Hunt plans to cut QOF targets to free GPs from micro-management

Health secretary Jeremy Hunt has given the clearest indication yet of his plans to drop targets from the QOF and free GPs from 'micro-management'.

He told the RCGP’s annual conference in Harrogate that GPs were being ‘managed to death’ and ‘de-professionalised’ by the outcomes targets.
