The number of GP practices in England offering extended hours has continued to rise, according to figures release by the DoH for October.
Over 58% of practices in England are now offering the service compared to just over 51% in September.
Just one PCT, Western Cheshire, still has no practices offering extended hours, compared to six trusts in September.
Last month the DoH announced it had achieved its target to get half of all practices to offer extended hours three months early.
