Research brief: Acupuncture treats nausea

Acupuncture can prevent nausea and vomiting from several causes, according to a systematic review. Results from 26 trials showed acupuncture point stimulation effectively prevented nausea and vomiting in patients suffering post-operative nausea (Auton Neurosci 2006; 129: 107–17).
