RCN campaigns for more children's nurses

More children's nurses are needed so that youngsters can receive care in their own homes, according to a new campaign. By Jamie Stuttard.

The Better At Home Campaign promotes that children with complex healthcare needs should not be forced to receive treatment in hospital settings.

A reception will be held on 10 March at the House of Commons for politicians to hear first hand about the campaign.

Key speakers at the event include health minister Ann Keen, as well as families who will share their experiences of home-based healthcare.

The reception has been organised by children’s charity WellChild and the RCN.
