RCGP chairman challenges health secretary on GP paediatrics training

RCGP chairman Professor Steve Field has described the provision of paediatrics training for GPs as a 'disgrace'. Watch the video below.

Professor Field told health secretary Andrew Lansley that GPs wanted to care for the whole family, and that training needed to reflect their professional responsibilities.

The pair were filmed taking questions from the audience at the RCGP annual conference in Harrogate this month.
