Wendy Collett, of Tiptree Medical Centre in Essex, won the Williams Medical Supplies Practice Manager of the Year.
Ms Collett won the award at the National Association of Primary Care conference dinner in Birmingham after being unveiled as one of five regional winners.
After working for the medical centre for seven years, Ms Collett led a redesign of the practice to improve access for patients and working conditions.
This included a website allowing the practice's 11,000 patients to book or check an appointment online and order medicines. She won a trophy and £500 of John Lewis vouchers.
Dr Shane Gordon, who nominated Ms Collett, said: ‘Wendy is a wonderful practice manager and a worthy recipient of this award. She has unfailing dedication, enthusiasm and creativity to deliver the highest quality service for the patients of Tiptree village.'
