PCN social prescribing workforce is 'over 1,300' and rising, says NHS England

NHS England has said there are currently over 1,300 social prescribers working with primary care networks (PCNs) across the country and that it is 'on track' to double that figure – with a further 500 set to join the workforce shortly.
