Online pharmacies to carry verification logo

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain is looking for online pharmacies to take part in the pilot of a new logo designed to help the public identify whether a specific website is linked to a bona fide, registered pharmacy.

The logo will not only provide a visual means to help patients identify whether a website is connected to a registered pharmacy, but it will also provide a direct link to the Society’s website. This will allow visitors to verify the registration details of both the pharmacy and the pharmacist behind the site.

The logo will be rolled out to all registered internet pharmacies if the pilot is successful.
