Fresh Start will be holding free sessions offering help and support for people who have quit smoking at the brand new Revive Healthy Living Centre from 17th April.
The sessions are designed to support people who have already given up smoking by offering expert advice and information. Advice and support is also available on weight management and reducing stress and there will be an opportunity for people to try their hands at arts and crafts activities.
The sessions will run for ten weeks, taking place every Tuesday evening at the Revive Healthy Living Centre, Roe Farm Lane, Chaddesden, Derby. The group sessions will take place from 6pm to 7.30pm with individual support from an advisor available afterwards.
Diane Smith is a client who attended the previous sessions. “The whole thing was very supportive,” she says. “I was initially scared to come to a group but the experience was very positive. The exercise, healthy eating and relaxation was very good and made me more aware of my own body and looking after myself after quitting smoking.”
For further information on these sessions or to sign up for individual support, please contact Hazel Freeborn on 01332 208077.
