Lancashire GP Dr Bob Palmowski from Colne has raised £2,000 for the charities National Autistic Society and Action for ASD, thanks to a 300km cycle journey from London to Paris. He took part because his nine-year-old son Thomas is autistic. Dr Palmowski said: 'It was an experience and an accomplishment.'
