The guides, launched this week, set out methods of measuring and improving services and give a series of best practice examples.
QNI Director Rosemary Cook said: ‘The QNI has always supported innovation and development in community services. This is the focus of our annual programme of project funding and leadership development for nurses in primary care, which has been running for 19 years. We see these guides as a new tool for helping nurses to improve care, so we are happy to encourage nurses to take them into practice, and see how they can use them.’
