Nominations received daily for Scotland's GP of the Year 2010

Patients have been sending in their testimonies daily about the outstanding GP care they have received in the search for Scotland's GP of the Year 2010.

Dr Ken Lawton, creator of the award and chairman of RCGP Scotland, said: 'We’re getting a fantastic response from the public again this year, with some wonderful and touching stories from our patients.

'This scheme is a great way for us to hear about our patients’ extraordinary experiences first hand and in their own words.'

The patient who submits the winning entry will receive two tickets to the awards evening where they will present it to their GP in Edinburgh on 12 November.

More information at Closing date is 14 August.
