Nobles takes advantage of contract renewal

A prestigious contract has just been won again by the Doctors team of one of the UK's leading healthcare organisations.

Advantage Healthcare's Doctors team has just been awarded a one-year contract to supply both surgical and medical doctors for Nobles Hospital in the Isle of Man.

The contract was initially won by Advantage Healthcare in 2003 and they have successfully won it every year since. The decision was made because of Advantage Healthcare's superb record of success and excellent levels of customer service as Hilary Leece, Medical Staffing Manager from Nobles Hospital explained. "Following a independently evaluated tender process, a panel awarded the first call contract to Advantage Healthcare, together with another leading UK agency to provide locum doctors at the Hospital. This reflects the level of service required and is evidence of their high quality standards. We look forward to continue working with Advantage Healthcare and building on the excellent relationship we have with them."

Melissa Gane, Marketing Manager of Advantage Healthcare explained why the contract was such good news for the Doctors team. She said: "This contract win comes at a time of enormous growth, and everyone involved in delighted to be re-awarded the contract as it's confirmation of the high levels of service we have provided."

"We are starting to supply consultants as well as doctors, and have a 100% fill rate for every position put to us so far."

Nobles Hospital is a publicly-funded District General Hospital which is run by the Department of Health and Social Security for the Isle of Man Government, and Advantage Healthcare Doctors are sent over from the UK for anything from 2 weeks to 3 months at a time.

"Our doctors love it" Melissa explained. "The hospital is great, and they are made extremely welcome by all existing members of the Nobles Hospital team. The facilities at the hospital itself are superb and this quality extends even to the accommodation provided. There is a choice of singles, couples and family accommodation all fitted out in modern furniture and all with differing levels of housekeeping available. There is also an independently built education centre which is perfect for those of our Doctors who are continuing to study for further professional qualifications, and doctors at Nobles Hospital even hold tutorial groups in the evenings."
