No collectivisation

Every year he is a showstopper and 2007 was no disappointment. Dr Mike Ingram, a GP from Hertfordshire, donned a Russian fur hat to protest against the government's proposed collectivisation of supplies of influenza vaccine. The plan is, Dr Ingram announced, to wrest control of the vaccine supply 'from the reactionary elements of British general practice'. The conference demanded that the current system of direct ordering was continued.
