NICE publishes QOF indicator assessment detail

Details of how NICE will assess QOF indicators have been published on the regulator's website.

The interim process guide sets out how indicators will be developed and prioritised.

In addition, the QOF indicator advisory committee met for the first time this week.

It will meet again next week to consider new indicators that need to be developed and which current indicators should be retired.

The committee is made up of 29 members and includes eight GPs and a handful of primary care researchers.
