News in brief: Review of global sum formula delayed

The timetable for reviewing the GMS global sum formula has slipped and the formula will remain unchanged in 2007/8.

GPC chairman Dr Hamish Meldrum said the formula review group’s report would not be ready in time for modelling and assessment of cost implications to be completed before the 2007/8 financial year.
