News in brief: PCT appeals against suspension ruling

A PCT and the DoH have appealed against a decision that a GP had been unlawfully suspended from its performers' lists and could claim compensation.

The High Court ruled in a case involving Waltham Forest PCT and single-handed GP Dr Zafar Iqbal Malik (GP, 31 March). An Appeal Court hearing took place last week and a judgment is expected soon.
