Sir Derek Wanless (left) is to revisit his 2002 review for the Treasury looking at the funding of healthcare. The former NatWest Group chief executive will look at progress on his funding recommendations which led to the Chancellor’s decision to increase annual NHS funding by 7.4 per cent from 2002/03 to 2007/08.
