News in brief: Cost-effectiveness of real nappies

The Real Nappy Campaign in Scotland has launched a free resource pack for health professionals to promote the benefits of using non-disposable nappies. Using real nappies can save parents around £500 per child, and cut the 3 billion disposables per year that end up in landfill sites. The pack contains sample nappies, a booklet and details of local retail outlets. For more information contact 0808 1002040 or email helen.brown@wrap.org.uk
