News in brief: Choose and Book firm denies web browser glitch

IT agency Connecting for Health has denied reports that its Choose and Book software is incompatible with Microsoft's latest web browser.

The agency advised users not to download the latest version of Internet Explorer, IE7, until it carried out compatibility tests. Practices that have downloaded it should experience ‘no adverse effect in performance’, a spokesman said.
