News in brief: Cameron urges Brown to work with GPs

Conservative party leader David Cameron this week urged Gordon Brown to stop confrontation and start co-operation with GPs. 'Brown should immediately open positive negotiations with GPs instead of attacking them,' said Mr Cameron. Other NHS priorities he suggested included an independent review of the NHS IT programme.
