Medical display

The Science Museum in London is adding an exhibition of medical objects from around the world to its collection. The priceless exhibits include a 16th-century ivory Indian enema syringe. The exhibition, 'Living Medical Traditions', joins the museum's permanent medical history galleries. It tells the story of the development of medical approaches and treatments across the globe. Pictured is a Japanese figure showing massage, from the 1700s or 1800s.
