Map: UK GP services reliant on doctors trained overseas

22% of GPs in England are trained abroad, according to official data.

The NHS is reliant on doctors trained overseas, because UK-trained doctors are shunning general practice, senior GPs have said.

In some areas, two-thirds of GPs are trained overseas, with a national high of 71% in NHS Barking and Dagenham CCG.
