The CQC finished inspecting all GP practices under its four-point rating scale, established in October 2014, earlier this year. Over 6,800 practices were inspected, with 91% rated 'good' or 'outstanding' overall.
Click on a practice on the map below to find out its overall CQC rating, as well as its score on each 'key question' the CQC evaluates - safety, effectiveness, being caring, responsiveness and being well-led.
The map serves as a snapshot for the scores practices held at the end of the inspection round, as of May 2017. Practices pinned in blue were rated 'outstanding' overall, 'good' are in green, 'requires improvement' in yellow and 'inadequate' in red.
