LMC Conference 2016: full coverage

The LMCs conference 2016 looks set to be dominated by the profession's response to NHS England's GP Forward View, which last month set out plans to deliver 10% of the NHS budget to general practice by 2020/21.

Debates at this year's conference, in central London, will shape BMA policy on how to respond to the GP Forward View, which the RCGP called the 'most significant GP deal since the 1960s' but which critics said failed to deliver funding fast enough to bring the GP crisis to an end.

Visit this page for full coverage of the two-day conference, including coverage of GPC chairman Dr Chaand Nagpaul's keynote speech, key debates on industrial action and other issues.
