East London GP Dr Jim Lawrie has a recommendation for enjoying the hot weather.

Responding to an appeal for GPs' favourite beaches for a forthcoming feature in GP, Dr Lawrie said: 'After half an hour basking like a mud-covered hippo in the sun and a quick swim in the sea, every pore of your skin is refreshed.'
