Letters: Survey story just adds to pressure on profession

Your survey reported as 'Two-thirds of GPs have no faith in GPC' (GP, 6 March) is about as valid as the current DoH patient survey. It is at best an unscientific, invalid snapshot of opinion.

I regret that in my view your banner front page headline just adds to the pressure on the profession and is profoundly unhelpful at this time.

Never has GP bashing been so prevalent, never have the government spin doctors tried so hard to devalue what we do.

It is so depressing that one of our newspapers is now joining. Is there any link between GP and the Daily Mail?
