Letters: Imminent DoH report to shed light on revalidation

Further to my article (GP, 5 September 2008) on preparing for revalidation, may I point out that the box giving the dimensions for the practice to focus on was derived from the DoH clinical governance subgroup that I chair - part of the Tackling Concerns Locally revalidation working group.

The report is due to be published soon and will help PCTs and GPs understand what will be required of them once medical revalidation kicks in.

Dr Ruth Chambers, GP, chair clinical governance subgroup, Tackling Concerns Locally revalidation working group.
