Letters: Don't splurge NHS funds on needless IT upgrades

Our PCT is wasting thousands of pounds replacing our PCs.

They all work, and give us no problems, apart from the odd printer with a mind of its own.

But the printers are all being replaced with colour ones, for which the consumables cost hundreds of pounds. Who's going to pay for them?

How are they going to wipe all the information off the old computers?

The old adage, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', applies. Without this waste, perhaps our patients could see a physiotherapist earlier.
