Letters, calls and emails: Points are for quality of care not ease of access

Dear Editor

The quality framework is a way of incentivising GP s to provide a measurable quality of care.

Access is about convenience, and not quality. In fact, with more access, quality declines because continuity of care goes down. To rebadge quality points as access points is a travesty.
