Letters, calls and emails: GP's restaurant was well worth long drive

Dear Editor

We are writing to say how much we enjoyed the meal that Dr Chris Duckham prepared for us at his Restaurant Cote du Nord, a couple of weeks ago.

My wife and I do not profess to be food buffs, but we recognise and enjoy good food.

We didn’t trouble Dr Duckham afterwards, as we knew that he would be busy.

However, it was good to meet the face behind the photo in GP, and the source of the recipes there, several of which we have tried and enjoyed.

It was certainly worth the trip up from the caravan at Ullapool.

Keep up the good work.
