Letters, calls and emails: Farrell needs to study history and geography

Dear Editor,

I enjoy Liam Farrell’s writing enormously but wish to let him know that the battlefield he visited near Inverness must have been Culloden, not Bannockburn (GP, 16 March).

It was his getting stuck in the heather that gave the game away.

It’s a bit like saying the Battle of the Boyne was fought on the steps of the GPO in Easter 1916.
