Letters: Better to be suited and booted

This morning after taking a lot of trouble to get dressed appropriately, in particular trying to hide my mediocre pot belly, I came across the letter written by a GP calling herself one of those in the denim and cardigan group (GP, 9 January).

I, belonging to the old school, feel obliged to put my view across.

Looking smart, I believe is simply part of the complex life of a GP. I still like my Wedgwood china mug for my cup of tea.
