Letter: BMA's pusillanimity will lead to further attacks

I am astounded at the sheer cowardice of the BMA over extra contractual hours.

They have climbed down even before they have balloted grass-roots GPs. A jelly fish has more spine.

Don't they realise that now there will be further attacks on the 2004 contract and the next ultimatum will be for GPs to take back responsibility for out-of-hours?

Dr Martin F Seely, Worsley, Manchester.
