Implementing clinical research in practice

Professor Helen Lester will be leading a number of sessions highlighting new research and how to implement relevant findings in primary care.

As professor of primary care research at the University of Manchester, Professor Lester is ideally placed to comment on cutting edge research papers and clinical practice.

As a speaker at this year's RCGP Conference, she will also chair a specific session on the latest evidence to help GPs provide the best possible treatment for patients with a suspected UTI.

Another session will focus on the work of the RCGP's Clinical Innovation and Research Centre, and how it can help GPs and primary care teams improve the quality of care they deliver.
