Wimbledon GP Dr Paul Cundy (above) won a national motorsport title this year after competing at top English racetracks at speeds of up to 145mph.

Dr Cundy topped the table for production-class entrants in the 2006 Yokohama Mid-Engined Sports Car Series. Dr Cundy told GP he started racing after becoming tired of taking his sports car for non-competitive track days: ‘After six years, I wanted to do something more competitive.’
