GPs win patient award

GPs Dr Amir Hannan (pictured) and Dr Richard Fitton won an ‘Involving patients and the public' award from Tameside and Glossop PCT in Derbyshire.

The pair have enabled patients to access their medical records. Benefits include seeing test results and records via the internet. Dr Hannan works at Thornley Medical Centre in Hyde, and Dr Fitton at the Hadfield Medical Centre in Glossop.
