GPs' duties to the disabled

The Disability Rights Commission is urging GPs to consider its guidance about requirements under PCT contracts from 4 December to positively promote equality.

Examples of good practice include provision of induction loops and enforcement of blue badge parking spaces for disabled patients. More detail at www.dotheduty.org .
