The group has spent their time listening to consultants, reading journals and learning from each other.
Their practices cover a wide area in Sheffield, from Jordanthorpe to Fulwood, Woodseats to Crystal Peaks, yet the situations they deal with are similar.
The longest-serving members are Dr Jenny Stephenson, from Stannington and Walkley House Medical Centres, Dr Claire Parsons, from Dronfield, Dr Penny Bradbury, from Jordanthorpe Health Centre, and Dr Barbara Sloan, from Meersbrook.
Dr Stephenson said: ‘The group is mutually supportive and fulfils two roles. This way we learn regularly and keep updated medically, as well as supporting and encouraging each other. We thought that our 20th anniversary was worth celebrating.’
