GP takes to the stage

Having retired in 2006 after 30 years as a single-handed GP, Dr Michael Prior now writes, performs and produces plays in Bedfordshire.

'To create something of value is special to me, even if only 200 people see it,' he said. His past roles have included Hitler, Jesus and Nelson Mandela. His one-man show Churchill - The Warrior is at the Civic Theatre, Bedford on Saturday 10 November.
