GP newspaper shortlisted for two awards

The team that produces GP newspaper has been shortlisted for a series of awards from the Medical Journalists' Association.

GP newspaper is shortlisted in the Medical Publication of the Year Award, a title that the weekly newspaper last won in 2005.

The shortlist for Medical Journalist Of The Year includes clinical news editor Tom Moberly, news editor Nick Bostock and senior clinical reporter Sanjay Tanday.

The winners will be announced in a ceremony at the Royal Society of Medicine in London tonight and published on Healthcare Republic tomorrow.

Last month GP was highly commended at the Periodical Publishers Association awards, in the category for weekly business publication, and columnist Liam Farrell was highly commended in the category for business columnist of the year.
