GP Dr Stuart Bingham completes 22nd consecutive London marathon

East London GP Dr Stuart Bingham completed his 22nd consecutive London marathon for charity on Sunday.

Dr Bingham, pictured on the 26.2-mile course, said: 'I'm pleased to have finished and to be raising money for a great cause - Macmillan Cancer Support. A big thanks to all my sponsors. The total has risen to £1,127 and continues to rise, thank you. The crowds on the route are a real inspiration and it's great to be able to say I raced against Jenson Button.

‘Macmillan support on the course was amazing and the reception for runners afterwards was just what the doctor ordered - a leg massage and a cup of tea.’
