EMIS: Apple Macintosh discussion list

The EMIS National User Group (NUG) has noticed an increase in the use of Apple Macintosh computers amongst members of the medical profession over the recent year, although these are for personal use rather than for use at work.

The NUG has decided to help support medical professionals who use Apple computers. We have therefore set up an email discussion list for Macintosh using doctors and associated professions to enable them to support each other in their use of these machines.

This is an open list and anyone is welcome to join, list members do not need to be EMIS users and there is no necessity to join the EMIS National User group to use the list.
As with all such discussion lists subscribed members are able to posta message asking for help or answering someone else’s question, thisis then sent to all other subscribers using any standard email client. All such messages are distributed to all members and we have found this to be a powerful way to tap into and share users existing knowledge. The NUG has been running EMIS system specific discussion lists for several years To subscribe to the list visit:http://lists.drmac.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/docmac
