The DVD is written and presented by GP communications expert and RCGP examiner Dr Peter Tate, and aims to help doctors improve their consulting skills by working with patients to achieve more effective consultation.
The second edition includes a 16 page booklet guiding you through each task.
Five common scenarios were scripted and filmed using professional actors to demonstrate the five key tasks that need to be tackled.
Dr Tate then examines the successes and failures of each consultation, commenting on clips and providing learning points and topics for further discussion.
This DVD is ideal for doctors at any stage of their careers seeking to enhance their consulting skills for training, CPD or revalidation purposes, and can earn you two CPD credits. The format is also highly suitable for group learning.
