British Medical Football Team wins 14-0 to progress to tournament quarter final

The British Medical Football Team beat Belarus 14-0 to set up a quarter final tie with Venezuela in the World Medical Football Championship.

Leading the scorers was GP trainee Kenny Deuchar, nicknamed Dr Goals, with a hat-trick, GPonline.com blogger Dr Paul Fourie made the scoresheet, GP Dr Arif Kazi (1), Pranam (2), Fulford (2), Howells (2), Roberts (1), McKellow (1) and Akindele (1).

The British team topped the group despite losing to Sweden earlier this week and next face Venezuela, a team described by the Brits on their Facebook page as 'physical', on Thursday in their bid to make the final four.
