Tour de France GP raises £1,000

North Yorkshire GP Dr Shaun O'Connell expects to raise £1,000 after completing 173km of an amateur stage of the Tour de France last month (GP, 7 July), 15km short of the finish. Dr O'Connell, from Selby, raised money for Ataxia, the British Heart Foundation, local hospices and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
