Practices are increasing in size and complexity and it is essential that GPs understand the organisational context in which they work. They need to be able to operate effectively within a team, and in collaboration with a variety of other professionals.

Through teamwork, taking on managerial responsibility, and demonstrating leadership skills, GPs should be able to ensure the best possible outcome for their patients within the resources available.

Here we have collated key articles from our journals to help you meet the curriculum requirements in this area.

You can also put questions to our panel of experts on all aspects of primary care management. Go to Ask the experts here.

These curriculum resources are regularly updated with relevant articles from our range of healthcare publications. All articles are reviewed by GP advisers. We have set the standard lifetime of an article at two years and will aim to renew all articles within that timeframe. However, some older articles will remain in the listing if our reviewers believe there to be no significant changes to the topic covered.
