Oakapple medical services acquires Newcastle clinic

Oakapple Medical Services are pleased to announce that it has acquired the premises and equipment of Euromedicare at 4 Towers Avenue, Jesmond, together with Euromedicare’s very experienced staff, it will be known as Newcastle Clinic Limited.  The services it can provide include, high quality consulting rooms, open MRI scanning, X-ray, treatment under image intensification and physiotherapy.

Oakapple Medical Services Limited is committed to a program of substantial investment in Newcastle Clinic Limited in order to expand the range of services, and offer these in a fresh, contemporary and comfortable environment.

Commenting on the purchase, Philip Taylor Chairman of the Oakapple Group said:

“Having spoken with a number of consultants in the Newcastle area there is a considerable requirement locally for high quality consulting rooms and the range of services that can be provided by Newcastle Clinic Limited.

“Although the substantial need for these services was once satisfied by Euromedicare, the use of the clinic by consultants had reduced in recent times.  Our aim is that the changes we are making in the new clinic will provide the best independent consulting rooms in the area and that consultants will feel confident in using the facilities and services Towers Avenue.  We are intending to complete our refurbishment of the premises by the end of January 2007
