NHS England outlines characteristics of great CCGs

Great CCGs have six characteristics, according to NHS England's interim national director for commissioning development.

Speaking at the Commissioning Show in east London on Wednesday, Rosamond Roughton outlined ambitions for CCGs including a strong sense of membership from GP practices; improving outcomes and reducing inequalities; strong collaboration with other local commissioners around local needs; and having a powerful vision for change.
